Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus
I'm gonna hold now, too obvious if we all get in there.
Meshelic: be casual, but keep it technical (like the poll was incorrect. <---- for distraction purposes) very well put in words btw

Me thinks it's a loosing battle
Ah well, changes are slim there won't be any goody huts

We should make sure we're better prepared for the next battle though
Diplomats go to work !!!!

sounds like trip knows exactly what happened and doesn't care, its the result he wanted. we could argue that he skewed the poll on purpose to achieve what he wanted but that might tarnish our credibility.
I wanted to send a PM to Spiffor, but we should have team brainwash on that one for the next time.
Maybe the diplomats should write a statement that invites other teams to make diplomatic deals. Without making promises off-course
We really need to get organised for cases like this
Even we can't afford to loose too many battles

So there is roughly a 1 in 20 chance that we might get a map with no huts?
That's only 5%, and thus unlikely, but it adds to the "gamble" factor of choosing expansionist.
It is highly likely we will have huts & barbs, and thus an advantage if we're the Iroquois, but if we get unlucky and its a no-barbs map, we're really screwed.
Damn, it's to bad the new blood (me, DeepO, Theseus, alexman, etc) missed that poll.
We did try to reopen it, but we lost the argument
We didn't have a strong case to begin with, but was worth a shot.
