The same core, differently spiced/accents.

Question re: economists

do we determine how the land will be worked? citizens to be managed?

Who will determine the science researched, the economists or the tacticians?

how will the groups work together when analyzing trade issues?

Have these questions been answered in another thread?

That's pretty much what I was thinking, that on the big issues, everyone would be able to opine. That the groups are loose when it comes to the big picture. The micro issues are covered by the schools-what tile to mine, where to move scout 1, etc.

I guess. I'm not entirely sure what each group will control. I intend to post my views/suggestions in all areas, while I have no intention of becoming a leader of any of the schools.

to be honest, I've forgotten exactly what each school is supposed to do.

Hmmm I'll leave the *official* response to NYE, but in simplest terms I think it goes somewhat like this.

Tactical Schola - Heads up the areas of city construction (settlers), commanding military units, naval units, etc.

Economical - connects cities with construction of roads, irrigation, mines, etc. (Infrastructure) , adjusts luxury bar, domestic duties

Diplomatic - foreign affairs, deals solely with human players (and AI of course) , helps draft government plans

The President is voted from one of these and Science is decided by ALL

Feel free to ask any of us for help if you feel you have too much work to do by yourselves. I'm sure one of us will come to lend you hand. I wouldn't want to see the 3 of you get swamped with responsibilities.

On the diplomatic end I think we'll do fine with only 3 members. Most of the other schola's need more members since they have more to do with the actual running of the government and the civ we lead.

Diplomatically I'd say we have a fine team and we're solid. I would not mind one more member to join in on the Diplo Schola, but then again it's not really a HUGE need. I'm sure that asleepatthewheel,zeit and myself can make great gains in that area.

For the moment, I'm going to wait to see what I want to do. Of course, tactics and economics seem to be obvious choices for me, but diplo has it's lures as well... allow me to wait so that I can read up here a bit more... it's too late now to fully read this forum, most likely it'll have to wait for the weekend.

And whatever I might chose, you can expect some comments on all things when I feel I need to give one. Plus, no, I'm not planning to lead any of these either, I want to advice, not stear the game.
