1000 c, I think. 10000c gives you the 4th (being 5 tiles from the city).

Legopolis and Oasis 8 should be acceptable. I'll go over it to be sure before doing it, though.

We can know see the GoW stack, I'm counting stuff...

Yup, might as well toast this one before DeepO gets back with the Stanwix battle log...

Hey, I was still posting other stuff!

This is crazy, the word "rape" comes to mind.

Looking at it now, it almost seems arrogant of Lego to leave all these cities undefended, particularly quantro, a city within transport range, undefended against marine attack...

Congrats and all, don't mean to ruin the mood, but this is a very sad turn.

            Yup, I agree.
It is both an and a turn.

Let's enjoy it for now and be sad later when we break the news to Lego, shall we.

Btw, I was thinking ealier on perhaps getting this turn to Soren's attention.
Don't get me wrong, the tactics used here are absolutely brilliant but I can't help feel, that we didn't play this turn how the game was intended to play.
So if Firaxis would/could come up with a plan to prevent it in Civ4.

PS: I think just about all is fair in an MP game, so don't take this the wrong way.

              GoW stack
              - 26 marines
              - 2 reg marines
              - 1 3/5 marine
              - 26 artillery (shouldn't that be 27?)
              - 1 settler
              - 2 1/4 tank
              - 2 2/4 tank
              - 1 3/4 tank
              - 17 2/4 inf
              - 1 2/5 inf
              - 1 1/4 inf

60 units left, most of them damaged. I should apply for a job as fortune teller... I predicted this the last time I spoke of the leftover GoW troops.

Nevertheless, seeing the damage on those units, I'm glad we took all we could take, and are here to pound on those infs.

I don't see any need to disband any telported tanks. We may need them at home. We can just not send them back for a time or ever. It is not something that is being done to get the tanks back, we would prefer them to be on Legoland.

Soren seeing this might be a good idea, but perhaps best to wait until I had time for an AAR, and let him see this. It takes forever to get the meaningful information out of here

But last I heared, he was still a lruking member of this team, so in case he want any details he's free to read them!

Look, it's not that we use those tanks to our advantage, but I remember what we heared last time we teleported units. Let's not leave any sore taste in our mouths after this victory. If Lego wants to go around, and have some revenge on our tanks: let them have their moment. It won't matter to us either way, it might even be beneficial to us if we lure infs out of that fortress Abilene is going to be.

Lego will probably go into anarchy, so that they don't have to pay for the units. Otherwise, wouldnt the units be disbanded if they could not pay for the upkeep of the units?

Don't worry, this won't be possible in Civ 4. That's all I'll say.

I'm not sure about the upkeep question. You only lose one unit per time you're in the red, right? They could just as easily abandon their last city...

We could post the status of the GoW stack in public and ask Lego to finish their report. I am wondering if GoW tanks had any get to elite before they got destroyed.

Only 1 marine make elite and lived. So it would seem Lego really bombarded them.

As to Civ 4: Civ 3 didn't seem exploitable either, compared to Civ 2. And still, after a few years you have to restrain yourself, or it could turn a lot uglier...
