IIRC it said the turn had already been played (1040ad?) and asked if I wanted to save and exit or continue. I continued.

no problems here, opens perfectly. If you continue once you exit the turn, you should reload the original file (otherwise it goes to the next player).
Okay, so ND did not send incense. This is a problem... it is possible they did sent it, but something went wrong with the diplo screen, and we encountered a bug. I'm going to play the turn, and send it to ND. However, in the e-mail I'll ask what happened. In case they did sent it but the silks got lost in a bug, I ask that they wait, so we can bring it to the public forum, and ask for a replay. We should then replay the last turn, but with the slider set to 10% happiness, or solve the problem that ND has with their lux.
Does everybody agrees with this? Otherwise, we're losing too much here...

CH, I was not talking about actually building a worker. In a 80spt city like Tempest, pollution will make it a 74spt city for one turn. By rushing a worker, and setting it back to rifle, we put 84 shields in that rifle. But that's better then losing 74 shields as there is nothing more expensive to build in Tempest...
But I still think it's an exploit. In case pollution would come before production, there would be no problem
perhaps, but I would go for MI first, no? we could use them when invading, I think we get them in time to upgrade our infs before embarking. MA is going to be trickier, we will get that once we're on Lego. It's very hard to have it beforehand.

silk and 570 gold for combustion. I especially sent them combustion last turn, so they had no reason to delay the trade. They did agree to it, see the ND-log... and I especially asked them to make sure we got silk as otherwise we would run into trouble with our WLTKDs.

something else: to deal with the pollution in Tempest, and with the loss of WLTKD in EotS, I'm considering to shortrush to rifle, and build 2 policestations. Effectively, this comes at the cost of 2 rifles (so 1 rifle per PS). The immediate returns aren't too big, but maybe it's good when we go to war. Does anyone object?

Oh, and Sleepy: the pollution indicated in the city view can't be the percentage chance of getting hit with pollution, or we have incredible bad luck. Tempest has 5 pollution, WoC 7, BB 7, Hurricane 5, EotS 4, Typhoon 3. All the rest is either at 2 (10 cities) or 0. In total, that gives 51% chance of pollution... or roughly once every 2 turns.

hum... that won't work for EotS, as it will still be without WLTKD next turn. It will again only make 78 spt, instead of 80 spt. I can rush to 90 shields via guerilla (48 gold), or disband a spear (but that is potentially a MI). No foresting spot available, all have been used.
I think I'm going for the guerilla

In case anyone can replay this save within the next 4 hours, I'd appreciate it. Otherwise I'll do it myself... after this evening's cocktail bar
Only change opposed to the log is that the silks deal has to be cancelled, and the slider adjusted so that all cities remain in WLTKD (most likely 10% lux).
