We got another pollution on T219 - and in a metro, as the two previous ones on T218 were also in metros - I double checked.

        That sucks.

        A thought...

we could have RP propose a kyoto type thing in the main forum, maybe get Vox in on it, as the minor nations thing. Just to increase activity and fun for the next few turns. That is, if RP even has one person active enough for it...

Tempest got the pollution, but there is a bigger problem - we lost Silks and a load of WLTK - including EotS and Arashi who are a couple of shields short of their Rifle builds. Whirlwind needs a specialist set on the side-step to avoid disorder.

didn't ND send us the silks? If they didn't, we're in big trouble. I was counting on that, and cycling through the cities to update them.

EotS out of WLTKD is something I hadn't foreseen. I mean, losing WLTKD meaning too much corruption is bad

Tempest and pollution. Damn. Another unit gone. And no easy way to correct it either, we've got nothing more expensive to build there...

wait a minute, there is a way to prevent Tempest from losing all the shields, but it costs 80 gold. And I'm nost sure on the validity of the 'hack'

Pollution is created when a city is going through its production cycle, right? In that case, it might be considered an exploit to hack into city view earlier, and rush a worker (80 gold). After all, you need to go through the save twice to know beforehand pollution is going to strike.

It would make a nice tactic to prevent too many losses from pollution, though. Open the save, note where pollution is creating a problem, close the save, reopen, rush workers or short rush other stuff where needed, and let pollution strike.

We could only rush a worker while not on another build, and even so it would only reduce the probability of being hit by pollution, not guarrantee avoidance.

Mass Transit is only three techs away after next turn...

On the upside, we got 3000 gold from GoW, as well as 100g from RP and ~550g from ND

I wonder if any talk of Kyoto will encourage them to keep doing what they are? IOW if pollution is a problem for us, do they care?

holy canoli. thats a ton of gold

that is crap about the lux.

don't be suprised if this wasn't "accidental" rather than being accidental, if you know what I mean. They know how smoothly we're running and would enjoy disrupting that....

CH, I was not talking about actually building a worker. In a 80spt city like Tempest, pollution will make it a 74spt city for one turn. By rushing a worker, and setting it back to rifle, we put 84 shields in that rifle. But that's better then losing 74 shields as there is nothing more expensive to build in Tempest...

But I still think it's an exploit. In case pollution would come before production, there would be no problem

Mass Transit is only three techs away after next turn...
perhaps, but I would go for MI first, no? we could use them when invading, I think we get them in time to upgrade our infs before embarking. MA is going to be trickier, we will get that once we're on Lego. It's very hard to have it beforehand.

No, not at all. But we could bring some life in the public forum... that's all there is to it.

do I get it correctly that ND sent 570 in cash, but no lux? Strange, very strange. Oh well, I'll look into it later today, still at wok. That's the problem of going out in the middle of the week: I'm lucky to have sliding hours so I skipped before noon. But of course, the work still needs to be done... no Civ until after 9 pm

I tried to check that for you, but it is loading as ND and does not like my password? OneToRule?

the password is correct, but did you open and saved the turn before? their next in line...
