There is no difference in the costs of Astronomy and Invention between 170 AD and 190 AD.

Shiber, could you count maximum spt (in GA) for GoW's capital, and tell me if they're still on the GL? I still think it's fishy that they went full speed on Invention... they wouldn't have a leader handy for Leo, right?
Oh, and Astro should be the same cost as banking, I thought. I saw a list somewhere in which that was said, I previously believed banking was a bit cheaper...
Astronomy is 56, Banking is 52.
I'll do the maximum spt for Imperial City in a moment.

If I'm not mistaken, GoW's maximum spt in Imperial City is 25 spt, or 34 spt in their GA.
They have switched to Leo's workshop in the meantime. They're not counting on getting a leader, I suppose.

They have switched already? Damn... that means ~6 turns before we can expect a wave of riders, right in the middle of our planned invasion. Not so good.
We might need to postpone it a little, so that they can move their forces South... and we will need at least 50 units for a credible invasion force. They have probably been saving for the past 10 turns, add the 5 before Leo, and they get to ~40 horses if they want. That's quite a force to meet
I suggest a SPIN article regarding a serious shortage in cloths and dyes in Valencia- with the successive changes in control of city, there's an ever increasing demand for new flags and banners...
But that's for after we take the city, I suppose.
