ND is maybe not the easiest target (as it can't be so easily invaded from the sea), but they are the biggest threat to us. They are probably 2nd in production atm (in their GA), while GoW is 4th after Lego. For that reason alone, they would be the better target...

Very well, and your assessment of their relative strength is more than enough to convince me.

In broad terms then, I propose that we:
a) put the south firmly back in control of RP and station strong garrisons in the mountains to stave off further ND incursions

then

b) LEVEL GoW - just smash them with the wrecking ball that is our civ.

That's what I often do in SP, anyway - squash the little guy. Easier that way. Dunno if that's good for MP, though.

I'd dearly love to manage some serious pillaging in ND's lands, but I can't think of how to do it in a cost-effective manner (at least until we get navigation - explorers). So I do think step 2 (step 1 being retaking the south) is to hit GoW.
