Bilbao is in ruins, of course.
The smelly riders are in Toledo-6.
We can bombard with four cats this turn (4 bombard against 6 defense for the riders, that's 40% chances of hitting), or we can fortify them inside the cities and get much better odds at hitting the riders at the critical phase, when they actually attack Toledo.

Two RP workers are role-playing digging a road in NM-9.
We can set up our port city this turn. What shall we name it?

Reminder: fortified units in Toledo: 1 elite pike, 1 vet pike, 3 vet knights, 3 vet medinfs, 4 cats (optional).

Wait, can't we fortify all the units inside Toledo using 'fortify all'?
I remember reading that units that are fortified using 'fortify all' but have had no MPs left do not receive the defensive bonus. They still have the fortified graphics though - shall we do it anyway just to freak out GoW?

We also need a name for the new city between D'Ville-Inchoff-Blizzard.
Btw, there's a GoW spearman on the hill near PoI.

Vox are still in anarchy. GoW is at war with RP in-game.
I'm suggesting that once RP's two workers are done roading NM9, they should road Valencia-4 in order to bring us spices.
Man, this is doing wonders to my postcount

Shiber, can you tell me what troops are in the galleys at NM6669 and WW4? (well, mostly how many knights are in those stacks). All the knights on NM6669, and 2 of them from WW4 can reach Toledo in time.
One thing we might need to look out for: if the riders do not attack Toledo next turn, they can move to NM88, from where they are in 1 move distance of NM. We should be able to destroy them if they do that. Which is why I would bombard their riders without delay, not fortifying the cats in Toledo.

So an extra 7 knights can reach Toledo, making the total 10. Not bad... it would have been better if there was one more knight on WW4, but I guess our gold ran out. At least we can galley chain another pike towards NM8 if we need it.
Shiber, what time are you or whoever going to go through the build phase? I'd like to play along, and get a hands-on feel for where we are.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.
