    Okay, how about this:
We don't mention getting D'Ville and the abandonment of Eliopolis right away, because it'll freak them out. However, we say that as prerequisites for peace, we demand that they don't attack any of our units or cities this turn, that they move the immortals on the mountains near Sandstorm 7, onto plains so we could kill them with less risk involved (we should tell them that they all have 2HP or 1HP left anyway), and that they leave their 3 catapults near Inchon unprotected so we could capture them.

Then let's tone it down a bit.
A temporary armistice next turn, to build up trust. We promise not to attack them, including their immortals near SS (they'll need 3 moves to get out of our striking range anyway, I don't mind if they use one or two turns of armistice to try to get away). We ask them to let us capture their 3 catapults that are currently threatening the Inchon site, as a sign of good will. We do not demand that they withdraw from our territory at the moment.

I'm still not sure about this...

Let's hear what others have to say.

Btw, just so you guys know... we still have to conform to the 24 hours rule. According to the new time counter rules, any team that breaks the 24 hours rule will get another 24 hours added to their time counter.

Are you all kidding? No peace for Vox, no matter how they kick and scream, at least not on this continent. I don't care about them jumping over to their Bobian puppet masters. May be Togas needs a zoo.

Death to Vox. The fun part of the war begins. No need to stop now. Would Saddam have gotten peace if he begged for it and cried "Uncle Sam" at night? Vox et Hispania delenda sunt. Nothing less.

I think too much has been put into this for peace now.

If/when it's almost over for vox whats to stop them giving their last few cities to Togas and co? Better them than us having them?. If they were to give all their cities to RP right now for a few on bob would we declare war with RP?

See, that's what I needed to hear, Sir Ralph!

OPD, if the situation you describe arose, hell yes I'd declare war on RP.

It's pure speculation of course but if we were to go to war on RP with bob peaceful how would the others react? I'd be inclined to think that at least GoW would join on RP's side if not ND aswell.

From a relatively fresh perspective I think were close approaching the point where the weakness of strength would come into play. Being the biggest civ and having proven abilities, everyone will see us as a threat. If I was in a bobian civ I'd be thinking about banding together to hit GS. Otherwise were could run away with it.

I don't think others would get involved as long as it concerns our continent. I even think RP would just disband the cities and get it over with. They don't want to quarrel with us at this time (lighthouse and being the strongest one ATM, and the fact that ND and GOW might well take advantage of the given situation )

We should make all attacks as planned this turn. Change nothing. We can work on the the diplomacy between turns. In short delay a bit, but make constant progress.

Start by acknowledging the plea for peace, respond that we are considering it, but many in GS are of the mind that an unconditional surrender is the only acceptable surrender Are they still willing to talk and leave it at that.

Bait them a bit. All the while decimating what is left of their forces.

This could easily go on for three or four turns, It should be at our pace compleatly.

Is Vox thretening us with suicide? Beta's description of the oncoming bloodshed sure sounds like a plea for mercy.

I think negotiations are in order. They are asking for it directly, and that would be appropriate to comply, even if we don't intend to come with any agreement yet.

Also, I don't think we should ask for an armistice. Tactically we are advantaged, however, strategically we are growing weaker with every turn with this fighting going on. I think we had a majority for peace for the territory up to the Isthmus, but that might have changed by now. We should put a list of demands for Vox- If they really want peace, I believe they'll agree to at least some of the demands.

I spoke with Eli. We had a casual chat about school and finals (we're friends outside of the PTWDG) when he congratulated me for GS's success. The conversation drifted on from there, I asked about Beta's proposal and if he knows anything about it and he said that they're to surrender and give us D'Ville. They're not eager to disband Eliopolis but they say that it can be negotiated.
I raised the issue of letting us capture their cats next turn and he said no problem.

In Eli's own words (translated from Hebrew): "We will not disband Eliopolis, but according to the responses in the forum to your landing I see a wide support for surrender. GS's conditions seem very reasonable. Of course, I can't promise anything by 100% but I'm sure by 99% that such an offer will be accepted.
Pass an official offer to Beta and I'm sure that we'll have an agreement this turn."
