Humans can be... difficult.
None of my solo games have gotten to the point of out-of-game conflict though... in fact, only one solo game has even reached the point of in-game conflict, and that is a *very* recent development.
The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

I have never had an out-of-game conflict in a PBEM. That seems to be a uniquely demogamish phenomenon
