I've reformatted my computer, and my copy of Civ III is gone, not to be reinstalled. I said literally months ago that I wasn't going to be able to keep up as the turn player, and couldn't find a single person to step up to the position.

Well, if the game is really over...I had a nice invasion ready. Everthing was in the boats, and was already sailing. Muskets, LB, Horse, cats, and settlers don't forget the settlers

We had actually organized a tri-nation agreement to defend the continent against outside aggression. It seemed pretty obvious that the other continent would have to make an aggressive move sometime in the near future. My biggest fear was SS giving you guys an inroad into our continent, so I wanted them on our side.Comment

I thought you would have something like that figured out. Personally, I knew that it would kill the game, because SS where really far ahead of you in tech...what with having no army to support and all, and without iron we could never build rails or factories. And I also failed to see any chance of any of your teams trading iron to us. Without that we could never build an army later on to attack you or even defend ourselves, so we had to attack you now. Get the pact together, and you don't have to fear even this...we would be out of the game, but you would be burdened with trying to counter our threat, leaving SS open to win the game...
