I think the ones with the most fun city names should be declared the winner. We all know who that is.
    Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

While Civ 4 is a great game it would be nice to keep this one moving as well.

Personally, I'm enjoying this game and would like it to continue, but I don't want to force everyone else to keep playing against their will.

Hey, that's an issue for Panzer to address, not me.

I could play the Tabejin save, Zargon...

Might even speed up the game in doing so...

Nobody says it is your fault. However, it does take the fun out of the game for some. That is just an unfortunate fact.

I have not heard anything from the other members of Monty for a month now, and there was just one active member for a long while before that. I can play this game, sure, but I would treat it like a normal PBEM, so no posting in the private forum, just doing my turns. But in that case, what is the point of the "democracy" part of its name?

Well, the reality is obviously that not everyone gets every resource... fair or not, it's accepted as a possibility when the game begins.

Yeah, well, what can you do. So it continues as a pseudo-PBEM game. I only have three Civ 3 games left running including this one so that's fine by me.

Yeah, it is an accepted possibility. But when you consider that CoD has alot of ocean tiles bordering coastal tiles, you know that the map has been significantly altered. You then wonder, "Hmm, what if the mapmaker also changed...?"

And if Panzer did try to "balance" the map, then he has done it incompetantly...

I wonder if that victory condition will make it to civ4

I'm happy with keeping it going. But then afterall, Monkeys are a pretty easy-going bunch; afterall, we have been able to compress our civ onto a two city island.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

Keep it going, kill it, whatever, we are flexible.
*"Winning is still the goal, and we cannot win if we lose (gawd, that was brilliant - you can quote me on that if you want. And con - I don't want to see that in your sig."- Beta

I would have to go with "Definately kill it." this time. But I was not here at the beginning, which makes my vote less relevant.

I would be happy to let it die now...though it would be nice if every team could open the forums, and post the passwords for the save...

OK - Monkey officially votes to axe this game.

Might as well end it... things aren't going to get any faster.
