Beta, this seems to be getting a bit out of hand. Everything before was at least a little bit funny, but this is more offensive than anything else.

Bend the truth, yes, but you just broke into a few thoasand little pieces.
Krill - sorry. I do not mean to offend - and I certainly do not want a repeat of the 'other' game. But I am not sure why this offensive. Arrian did threaten the other teams. My response is to use Diane Kruger - the actress who plays Helen of Troy - as the Executive Director of SPAM - using more her charms than any real logic to appeal to the other teams. Maybe you missed the humour in the historical connection. Me, I thought it was pretty good.

    Again - my apologies.

But if you can explain where Monkey has been less than truthful, it would be enlightening.

I'm not too sure, does it have anything to do with Lego

I'm Sorry about that, now, as you can see I was not around at the beginning of the PTWDG (or this one). I only just got the joke.

It was not my intention to threaten, although on second review my post certainly reads that way.

          To clarify one more time:

I was trying to point out that the same logic the Monkeys are using now ("help us against CoD & Python, and then all three of us will bleed, which benifits you!") will apply later in the game too. Thus, later in the game it may be to CoD's advantage to assist someone over on the other continent with technology or some other favor. This will surely occur, unless of course there is a treaty preventing it.

The only threat is that we might ignore strategic concerns later and instead of assisting an underdog, we might refuse, or even back the stronger party... if the underdog went out of their way to assist Monkey now. I used the word "will" in my first post, which was a mistake due to haste and the fact that it was early in the morning on a Monday for me. It really should have been "may" instead.

              Perhaps so.

Then again, you seem to be implying that it might as well be a pledge.

I can't speak for Python, first of all.

Second, I'm no absolute ruler, so my own team might disagree with me if it came right down to it.

Third, as I said in my last post, the actions of other teams during this war will play a role in future decisions, but will not be the only factor.

I'd much rather reach some sort of deal over this, but if we don't, and a team assists Monkey, and CoD has a choice later on in the game: to back the team that hurt us, or their enemy... well, it might not override strategic concerns (your aforementioned superpower scenario), but if things are relatively equal, it could be the deciding factor.

                    Team Monkey offers Bananas

"Team Cake or Python" ( Great line) offer Chilled Monkey brains.

                    Both intrigue my pallet.

I still preferred the snake surprise though.

I'm not so sure about the monkey brains, but the cake or banana option is intriguing. I suppose the best of both worlds would be that we get to eat our cake, our banana, and they all get to die horribly gruesome deaths, too!

I sense that SPAM and the Cake or Python rebuttals aren't the only propaganda campaign being waged in these threads.
