Yes... It's done manually... and I was at a Science Fiction Convetion this weekend with no access to the internet. I do have a RL.

Chill Ruby. While I appreciate your enthusiasm in getting this resolved - you being a central figure and all, I ask that you understand that Ming has the right to never release any details on these allegations. This is afterall a private site.

Some of the people here at this privately owned site could in turn consider your requests, for an update into these allegations against me, to be flaming the situation.

Mate I understand where you are coming from, and again, I appreciate that loyalty that you, and several others have shown to me since we found out of this situation.

For now I ask for patience, allow Ming the time he needs to conduct his manual search of the posts that I have made in the time that Planet and James have been members. Ruby, you need to understand that Ming has a few posts to go through, for until this matter came to pass I was playing in approx 30 pbems most days, 3 demogames, a few games in the Other Games Forum, involved in the Civ III Stories Forum and also wandering the halls of the many other forums... {well since I black banned now in many pbems, I lucky to see a few games a day at most now} but I believe that audit relates to post activity prior to this coming out. So again, chill my friend, as I know I made a few posts in that time.

Ahhh it is not everyday that an advertisement sales rep or somesuch gets to do such an audit - give him his due, he does this for free. Yes Ruby, Ming does not extort the ridiculous fees that you do when working for someone else, he does this because he cares for the well being of this privately owned family gaming site

Paddy - what are you referring to? I too have noticed a number of games which seem to have faded, but I assumed it was the Civ4 bug that got them.

My reference is to the several players that have notified me that due to my being accused of cheating here in this forum, that they will no longer participate in any pbems that I am in.

Yet due to the nature of Mings work in the field advertising, and that he is conducting a manual audit of all of my posts since the time Kel created the log in of Planet, it will obviously be quite some time before he either a) proves me to be the person that has damaged poly so badly by being the dread cheat, then bans me again, or b) removes his accusations and charges or whatever they are...

Accused is not the same as convicted. It is sad that some people have judged you already. However, it speaks only about their prejudice and intolerance.

After a review of the posts... there is no additional proof to show who the actual DL was. It could have been anyone in the household. The highest percentage of posting at similar times could be found with Paddy, but that was to be expected due to his much higher post account. The audit was lengthy, but provided no new insights.

So in conclusion, we can't prove who the DL was.
We can only prove that the cheating occured from a single place.

James has been released...
But just because he is released, it does not mean that Apolyton in any form or fashion condones what was done. Cheating is a very serious violation.

In addition, a restriction has been placed on their household. In the future, they will NOT be allowed to sign up for mulitple teams in any Apolyton game. If we see new accounts posting from that household, action will be taken. Cheating will NOT be tolerated on this site.
