I was just betrayed. I need time to figure everything out.

      • So how long?

You are a single player team. So you do not have to consult with other team mates.

The weekend is here... Game On

Oh, I think that's a bit strong. Surprise attacked yes, but not betrayed. One can only be betrayed by an ally, and we have never been your ally.

In fact your predecessor 1889, threatened us with war on more than one occasion

You broke a peace treaty, so you betrayed me. It's very simple.

I have to say it - but I agree with LN here. Betrayal it is. I don't think you ever truly appreciated the efforts LB (1889) made on your behalf or the ally they represneted. If this was the case - why would LB border cities be left undefended. But then I don't think you understand the dynamics of a demo game.

And btw - 1889 was only trying to get you to see some sense regarding the Euphorica war. The fact you never did speaks volumes.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

                          • Beta, you speak of the dynamics of a demo game, do you mean that if you loose a demo game then you have the dynamics all sorted? or is it that when you have been in many demo games and lost in each of them that you have the dynamics all sorted? or is it the fact that you and some of your members are all knowing, all powerful, all elitist in the fact you have been in several of them.

                            I thought the dynamics were:

                            1. build a team, and develop your team as a nation

                            2. to have your team interact with other teams the way that nation states do in the real world, both as in our histories, and as in we do this age.

                            3. to utilize all the various articles of the rules to the best advantage of the team

                            4. to utilize the various limits that are built into the game Civ III to the best advantage of the team

                            5. to play and play hard

                            6. to win if possible

                            but most importantly...

                            7. to have fun and enjoy yet another great game hosted here at Apolyton

Just so you Know Beta im writing OOC !

You really do take the biscuit dont you, who in the hell do you think you are ?

This is a game and all Aqualung has done is play the game to the best of his ability !

If its etiquette your trying to talk of look to your own team Sir, for you will find many examples of treachery and betrayal in your own forums, from your own ranks.

It is known some of the nasty and bitter filth that has been set out in your private towers.

In this game the two nations that have treated BOH with the respect and gratitude for our team is AM and DR.

You talk of dynamics, only AM and DR have been capable of showing a dynamic diplomatic side to me for sure. All I see from your lot and from the bards when they were initally on the back foot is cold personal venom and spite.

We would have been better off playing with Kindergarten kids!

If you are so so super at these demo games then prove it win this one !!!

the truth is your teams diplomatic skills SUCK big time !!!

We do appreciate the efforts made by Golden Bear of late, shame he was not on your team earlier maybe a lot of this nonsense could have been avoided.

Also Skrobism you have made our team laugh many times we appreciate your honesty and your humility shown recently

Paddy has fought hard for your team, this being the reason we have never attacked you.
yet your actions are to continually demand more and more, and each time you make demands from a weaker position.

Maybe Skrobism and Golden bear should revolt and overthrow their masters then maybe we could really get back to Game On !!
