Skro - i have no idea where you get the ideas you posted about Euphorica.

First off, we had no intent of cutting and running after DR war. We did not necessarily intend to continue direct military alliance (ie strategic planning) after that, unless and until further military cooperation was useful or beneficial for both sides- but the tech cooperation was intended to continue indefinitely as well as the close planning we had maintained for the duration of the game post-contact, and the military agreement was understood on both sides (BoH and Euphorica).

And Babylon was, as far as I understood, initially only included for the DR war. Afterwards we would have hoped to have included you in tech cooperation - but the initial cooperation was only for the DR war, as far as I understood it. Of course, now we have a rather closer alliance ...

Ah, this gets better and better. I now understand from snoop's post that Euphorica and Babylon have become close allies only because they have no choice any more

Better sort out your differences while you still have capital cities in which to hold discussions guys....too bad Kloreep has gone off on a sabbatical

When's Rhoth "the steady" back from fatherhood? He may be your best hope snoop

          Aqua,
I never called you stupid. That could be taken as an insult.

          Snoop,
Fair enough my misunderstanding of the past. It does not interfer with current co-operation in search of an island.

          Paddy,
Sorry. It again seems that only the esteemed members of the ever honost, and greatly misunderstood Horde (misunderstood by the world, not that the members of the horde have a problem understanding) can throw insults at other teams. It won't happen again - unless the ever fickle Inanna changes her mind on this again.

Thanks Beta. This won't save you though. Your case has already been tried in front of the highest authority of the Horde and the punishment decreed is capital.

Inanna is stuff for history books now.

                    2. Trusting Babylon to send the units to the war they said they would.
                    3. Trusting Babylon to send Feudalism when we again sent Babylon a technology in advance.
                    4. Not allowing the Horde to march on Babylon when they lied earlier, see point one.
                    5. This was the final straw, asking Babylon for peace and friendship just recently.

So tell us again Micha the Righteous, how can you claim to have you "never lied"?
There was good rationale regarding #1. I just don't think you ever understood it. And we did send the tech a turn or two later.

As to #2, I can only assume you folks have a new and intoxicating luxury over there. We said 4 or 5 horse within a certain timeframe. We sent 5.

As to #3, again - a very solid plan for not doing so - as clearly laid out by E_T - but it was equally clear that the mandatory lobotomies of horde society created an issue with understanding the complex matter.

As to #4 and #5 - your problem - not ours.

And I see no mention of Paddy and the Horde abandoning allies after the allies had comitted their units and then the brave and mighty horde slink away into the night. How many times were we encouraged to ride hard, and 'coordinate' with Red Guard Operations, only to see BOH back down when their number was called. And you dare to talk of honour in this forum and others. Hah! You would not know honour if it looked you square in the eyes.

On the contrary, Lord Beta. The Horde came face to face with Honour, looked into her eyes and learned her name, then turned and fled north to escape her wrath.

The Desolators have a good sense of humour! We appreciate that.
But Beta is right, from our point of view the Horde has been the most unstable, least honourable and most treacherous team in this game. Unfortunately Ankh Morpork decided to side with them, which makes them second on that list...

well both sides have their opinions on these matters...
