What happened when you moved that 1/4 horse to 66 of Tarren Mill?

You destroyed our iron colony. The defender, which is us, would have seen that happen if this was SP, and so you should have included it in the battle report.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

Yes. Both MGLs and destroyed colonies should be reported.

        1) ANY action by a military unit beyond simply moving it should be reported. Bombarding, pillaging, even being hit while passing a cavalry or whatnot should be reported.

        2) FULL results of any military skirmish should be reported. It is true that the AI does not give you full results - by not necessarily announcing GL production, and by not necessarily announcing promotion when you can't see the city you were attacking following a loss. That doesn't mean we need to be held to the AI's or the game's shortcomings; after all, that's why we're reporting in the first place.

This is not a regular PBEM - and thus we should follow the strictest standards of battle reporting here. If this were Iron Civer, I'd suggest using 3.1...

If most of the teams want it, Sure, I don't have a problem with it. I mean, you all know that we got the MGL now.

            What a **** luck

And i wonder why didn't you continue our assault after this amazing victory? It was only one damaged pikeman and you had two more bowmen.

Certainly is interesting that only a limited attack took place here.

E_T can you possibly explain ?

I believe their intention was to try and get a leader. Having failed that, they called off the attack.

I have my reasons. And if the admin wants, he can check my report in our turnthread as to why. Or he can ask and I'll let him know.

But saying anything else would be telling....

And everyone knows that we "killed" an AM Iron Colony.

But I'll report such things in future. It's no big deal to do that, I just thought, that because it didn't involve units AND that the Unit in question, was still on it, that it would be self evident as to what had happened.

It is self evident only to those that can observe the effect.

Which points directly to the point of rapporting, share info with those that cannot observe what happens.

(but I'll admit it takes some of the fun out of the old "destroy SoD completely" trick )

I think the stats earlier would also attest to the fact that our RNG luck in this game has been less than stellar. So, to get one back evens things out.

And, E_T clearly had good rationale for his limited attack.

Yeah, I ain't complaining about the RNG. It has been incredably flukey in our war.

From our turn thread. E_T's rather stirring commentary on the recent battle. Thought we should share it.

Bowman E_T faces the 7/14 Horseman Army with Grim determination. He knows that this is his Homeland's last chance to stand up to the Evil Invaders of his country.

As he gets ready to make his final stand, he remembers the Beauty of the Many Hall of the now destroyed City of Plains of Asher. How the River would look, from the Granary house, as the sun was setting, on a brisk fall day.

As he raises his bow, to start, what will be his final moment of his, this wonderous life, he almost cries for the lost children of PoA. But he is able to hold back his tears, and turns that sorrow into a final great anger.

He draws back his greatbow and....
It is a great Battle. As he fights against the Charges of the Army, he is wounded, but still keeps firing. His resolve is cast Iron, as hard as the stuff in the hills, just to the north and west of him. His arm is getting tired and he can almost no longer draw his bow, but he continues on, waiting for the final blow to fall and and end this agony.

But, the Army all of the sudden retreats, to the northeast. He can still see them, raggedly together, but much, much reduced from before. He advances and collapses in the spot that they were at.

He has been Victorious, although he knows not how. He is still alive, to fight another day.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
