I am sold on our logo after Micha's comment. I'm still chuckling about it.

We'll take Logo 2. Thanks snoop.

Wow! I don't log in for one 12 hour period and I miss the logo poll. My vote is for number 2, but with an S and I like the palm tree idea.

They all look great snoopy369, and BTW I could notice the difference.

                  Reasons for the goddess Inanna:

Look here for a brief description.
Encyclopedia Mythica is the premier encyclopedia on mythology, folklore, and religion. Instant mythology since 1995.

                  and

Hey she's a Babylonian goddess. The goddess of Love and War seems to fit our direction as a team if I remember correctly. We plan to pursue the higher things: Love, Science, Culture. But, cross us and you'll get War. Inanna seems to fit.

'In battle, I am your leader In combat, I am your armour-bearer In the assembly, I am your advocate On the campaign, I am your inspiration..'

                    Reasons for the godking Gilgamesh:

Come on Gilgamesh is a great name besides...

Who is there to compare with him in kingship?
                    Who like Gilgamesh can say:
                    'I am king indeed?'
                    His name was called Gilgamesh
From the very day of his birth,
He was two-thirds god, one third man,
The Great Goddess Aruru designed him, planned his body, prepared his form
A perfect body the gods gave
                    For the creation of Gilgamesh
                    Shamash the Sun gave beauty
                    Adad the Storm gave courage
And so he surpassed all others.
He was two-thirds god, one third man,
The form of his body no one can match
Eleven cubits high he is, nine spans his chest
As he turns to see the lands all around him.

Hmmm - I was going to say stick with Hammurabai, but you have two interesting suggestions.

I think Gilgamesh is in aleardy as the leader of the Sumerians is he not? In the stock game I mean, not here in this demo game.

I like the Inanna reference. We could go with Empress Inanna, as opposed to Goddess.

And switch to (Helen of Troy as our avatar) ((edit)) as in x that. I mean Joan of Arc from France as our leaderhead.

And I like this reference you posted:

'In battle, I am your leader In combat, I am your armour-bearer In the assembly, I am your advocate on the campaign, I am your inspiration..'

Don't forget the 'noun' is plural ...

                        ie

*leader* *name* of the *noun* ...

*Empress* *Inanna* of the *Babylonians* ...

I think we can leave civ name, noun and adjective to the stock setttings for Babylon - but snoop is right.

Any other Babylonians out there who want to weigh in on the issue of who leads us. So far it is two votes for Inanna - Goddess or Empress.

Ok - good enough for me.

Goddess Inanna it is. And Joan of Arc as the leaderhead.

                                It's a wrap.

                                Civ: Babylon
                                Adj: Babylonian
                                Noun: Babylonians
                                Leader: Inanna
                                Title: Goddess
                                Color: Dark Blue

And change figure head to Joan.
