This a thread for Team Babble On - er I mean Babylon, to discuss pre-game stuff, and during the game, to be our public forum RP thread.

Team Babylon is fine as long as that's who we play. Wouldn't make any sense if we play the Celts.

Philosophy- Technology and culture on the one hand - homeland defence on the other. Don't mess with us as we will make you pay, and we are much more valuable as an ally.

Info- any ideas what to put here folks???

How about - Team Babylon will be a progressive and democratic civilization. We pride ourself on integrity. And we believe in a 'balanced' approach to the game. However, we will field a strong military to ensure our way of life is not threatened. We look forward to co-operating with you in the game.

OPD also need the following, and I say we go with the stock Babylonian references. As to colour, Babs IIRC are usually blue. Any other colour preferences. Green? Purple?

Team Babylon colour:

Babylonian Dark Blue (the babs secondary colour) or Byzantine Red. We will state our preference in a bit - but the game creator can also choose in case we have too many red or blue teams.

I´m for blue, too. It´s a darn ugly colour, but it tends not to say "conquer me!" on the minimap

Team Babylon is good enough. Though a somewhat more offensive layout of our strategy (at least roleplay-wise) would be good to get them to fear respect us...

Are we playing the culture bomb (assimilating rivaling civs)? Then I´m fine with the description as it is...
