Not wanting to be too uptight about this - but we have the PTWDG2 where we took a very off-beat and free-reigned approach to team names and themes. That was the premise of the game. May I suggest we stay on the civ theme for this game - within reason of course. More along the lines of the first demo game. This promotes some of the aura and story-lines we will be building around the game.

Just my view, and if the majority feels otherwise, that is OK.

A good name for Conquerors Team would be just that - Conquerors Team.

        • I think you should pick whatever name you want to. But that's just my opinion

Conquerors team, or Team Conquest, does have a nice ring to it though ...

                  • According to the guru I talked to, you can not eliminate WW by getting peace and then declaring war with the same civ. Peace does not eliminate WW instantly...only over time. As for going into a city and changing subsequent ones... I personally consider that to be fair game but would abide by the consensus. For the goto bug, it is eliminated in many ISDG/MSDG games, but, again, I considered that to be a bonus to the team stuck moving last...so it goes either way. For fortification of units that have already moved (because you can do it on land as well and it is similar to the goto bug) I would say that if the Goto bug is ousted, then global fortification anywhere should also be banned (otherwise you could use up a unit's mp and then get it fortified during the barbarian turn). Units will not go to the capital if the city is disbanded...but I agree that if a city is gifted, all units should be moved out FIRST! The other exploits should also be banned...including an honor system to NOT purposely go to war to enhance someone who is really an ally...i.e. triggering GA, trying to get quick MGL's, selling/capturing each others' workers and artillery, etc.

Also...sharing the Great Library and other wonders by gifting the cities back and forth should be banned.

Sorry...posted this before I knew it was for team captains...I have contacted my captain instead.

Thus the highest form of generalship is to balk the enemy's plans; the next best is to prevent the junction of the enemy's forces; the next in order is to attack the enemy's army in the field; and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities.--Sun Tzu

Actually, I was not the one who suggested it. It also suits the average age of team, though (and if I'm 16, you can do the math )
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.
