What a waste of resources. How many galleys were lost to retrieve the Emperors concubine from Troy?
Why were the ferrys intended to allow stripping of stranded resources (12 attack pieces on Sardinia and 2 attack pieces on Corsica) allowed to be deverted to no end?
Simply put, the attacks of Troy and Artemisium were premature. The true objective of the southern front is achieved with The City now known as Southern Aquarius.
And the two existing Galleys one each at Forum jagjef and Southern Aquarius have a capacity of 8 units per turn which more or less matches our capacity from Italia.
So why are six count'em six Italia cities producing unnecessary galleys?
Suggest as a minimum...
Neopolis and Genua be switched from 1 turn galley to your choice of 2 turn HC or 3 turn LIII
There are 8 empty galleys within 1 turn of either Toe or Messana. Any one of which can service Sicilian shuttle demand. I cannot imagine a rng sring that would sink them all. Therefore the cuirrently rushed galley in Toe be-re-rushed to your choice of HC or LIII
(thankfully there is huge cash hoard available)
Croton, rushed Galley switched to HC in 3 turns
Allow Tarentum rushed galley to complete then switch to garrison, pre-rushing after 1 turn then switching to HC 7,3 rush,7,7,7 =31. Rinse, repeat
Allow Forum jagjef rushed galley to complete then switch to garrison pre-rushing after 2 turns then switching to HC 4,4,2 rush,4,4,4,4,4 = 30. Rinse repeat
We got lots of boats, what we need are units to fill 'em with.
