  • Five years of Anarchy

The year was 255 BC and the people of Rome demanded a new order, Imperialism is the way. So Revolution it is.
Carthago who still will not see the futile with a war with Rome, put's some troops on Sicily.
    Our glourious army heads west.

    250 BC In anarchy,
The City of Lost Dreams and Forum Jagjef is founded.
The Roman celebrates a victory on Sicily, Carthagian blood floods on the hills of Sicily
Small amounts of Carthagians is killed on our northwest border.
Cleopatra wants ROP, Rome says NO.

    245 BC Still in anarchy,
Scythia and Persia creates an alliance against Celts.
macedonians creates the Great Libries in Athens.

    240 BC Still in anarchy,
Great Victory on the spanish Eastcoast, Rusicade is conquered from Carthago.
Carthago lands more troop on Sicily, more Carthagian blood on the now red hills of Sicily.
Carthago thows in the elefants on the walls of Rusicade.
    GA is no more.

    235 BC Still in Anarchy,
Hordes of elefants and cavalerys dies at the wall of Rusicade.
Cartagian bribes the stupid Scytians to declare war with Rome.
Macedonian and Celts creates an alliance against Scytia.
Egypt and Persia allies against Celts
Carthago and Persia allies against Macedonians

      All hail the Emperor.

The dumb barbarians declared war on Rome? Nice to know they like to make our citizens happy.
      Oh, yeah, more Legion training.
      Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

Hmm I have a few remarks.

          1. Why didn't you raze Rusicade and founded a new city 1 from where Rusicade? A citizen was accompanying the army of Trajan. I see the spice source has been pillaged. A Legion can reroad it when the anarchy is over and then the Baccnalia can be built.

          2. What's that Roman Legion doing in the mountains near Barcalona?

Furthermore, welll done. It's not a fun job to rule in anarchy.
don't worry about things you have no influence on...

I was out of movement for the army when I took Rusicade, the spice was still roaded. The following onslaught on Rusicade left little to do except fortify and wait for reinforcement.

            2. What's that Roman Legion doing in the mountains near Barcalona?
They saw some spanish maid's in the mountains and decided for a detour.

Furthermore, welll done. It's not a fun job to rule in anarchy.
No, I had some futile hope for a short time of anarchy, but no, we are still in anarchy when our next Emperor opens the sacred save.

Pray to the banana for better luck in the future.

We are way too far behind in territory to be raizing cities where not vital to do so. Keeping Rusicade allows that citizen to infill a new city.

This will improve security on our SW border due to ability of cash-rushing + the money to do so with Imperalism.

The next Emperor is kindly asked to pay more attention to the happiness levels of our citizens along with micromanging for anarchy.

And also please found a new city somewhere with that spare citizen in Rusicade, back along that river just north near the wine would be great.

Nagging Carthegenian inhabitants are reason enough to me. Having that citizen at hand, it would have been a simple No we don't want the city, burn it to the ground and build a new Roman city on a better spot. Pumping out citizins in Italy is no trouble at all with accelerated production.

Yes, I agree with MacMeadow that it would have been a better spot to have the city on the spice, where it would have better defence with the river. But without movement and with Carthagians attaking from south and north, I'm glad that the Army survived at all, it was down to 2points left.

wow... I'd expected the army would have had a piece of cake. Nonetheless Rusicade can still be abandoned. Probably up to Emperor Snoopius

It only has 1 foreign national inside. As soon as it comes out of resistance, it will be happy. It is really cheap to send the former ruling classes male children to Rome for an education and return so that it will be a Roman city.
