Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Am just playing this session according to posted orders now. If there are conflicts or mistakes in the orders I will stop to seek clarification, else we sally forth!
Orders, although a little confusing, were started for the end of the current turn, 1950BC. I had to realise, for example, that the Council of the City of X wanted to change from a Granary to a Settler. Also, I had to up the lux rate to 40% to keep The Asylum happy for the next two turns until it gets a settler. We may need to figure out how much one city Council can dictate funds for eg lux rates, as this action means we are down 3 science per turn for two turns, disadvantaging everyone when the other cities have no unhappiness woes and there is a perfectly good MP unit nearby.
Found a barb camp with the warrior on the way back towards the north of Feudality. Kept it on its mission as ordered. Here is a shot of the barb camp found. There are enough other civs' warriors around to handle it. There is the possibility of them heading for Feud though, as it IS SE of the camp. Will keep an eye out for this.
OK, finished at 1625BC. Each city now has their first colony. We just got HBR, and traded it (plus gold) to Germany for Alphabet. ALl the others already had HBR.
However, this shows us that no-one currently has Writing or Maths, so one of them should be next for trading purposes. I currently say Writing, as that gives us more options afterwards than Maths, but if the AI goes for Writing preferentially, then Maths may be the better bet.
I will post screenies later. For now I just post the save.
May I suggest that all units be renamed so as that they say which city they belong to. This would just make it a lot simpler for quick observations. They can be renamed again later, when they are bought by citizens.
