    2) Aeson
    3) Toraradical
    4) Makahlua

We need to discuss our name, our leader, what to do with the worker we are likely to get, and what to do aboot pillaging.

Just a heads up, I may be looking into buying some of your fine swampland in the near future. Do you mind if I discuss your rules with you? You can ignore my votes, as I am not yet a citizen of your fair city, but I would like to keep an open discussion with all cities I plan to own some land in

For our name I do not really have any suggestions, but think that we should defintely come up with a name of our own.
If y'all want I will lead the city. I can promise that if it is so, I will look towards the city's interests before my own. Also, I will create a private forum for citizens of the city on my site, Noitazilivic.
My standard thing with workers is to build roads everywhere; mines on grasslands, hills, and mountains; irrigate plains, desert, and flood plains; clear jungle, swamp, and forests on grassland and plains; and plant forest on tundra. This is the method I have found to be the best and I suggest we follow it.
I feel that we should outlaw pillaging. Though if one of us is pillaged all the rest should ban together against the one who committed the pillaging.

I personally see no problems with ootsiders suggesting things. Though we will no doubt take our own citizens words a lot closer to heart.

I find "Geen City" such a wonderful name. In Dutch it means "No City".

Just keep away from the forests - I'm pre-emptively claiming them It is -Green- city after all ^^

And yes to outlawing pillaging! Also, what's the next plan for the worker? I assume he'll be mining that plain then who gets a road next? Or are roads a prioiritty to link us to the capital and increase our coffers?
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

We aren't going to be able to compete food-wise with the other two cities. Perhaps we should work out a shield/food exchange program with one or both of the other cities? Military units for Workers? We could focus on getting a Barracks up and running.

I also support a no-pillaging rule for our city.

As a citizen of Blue City I would be interested in discussing this proposal further. I would even be open to expanding our "No Pillage Contract" proposed in our thread to cover both citizens of Blue and Green city.

                        No-pillaging rule:

A shield/food exchange is unneccesary. Eventually, we'll drain the swamps into grassland anyway, and there will be enough food.

Although establishing good relations with the Blue City is a good idea...

Edit: I'd also like to run for Mayor of this Green City. My priorities would be:
                        1) Terrain Improvement/Worker building
                        2) A defensive military force
                        3) Settlers to claim more land for the citizens of Green City

Once we have Warrior Code Green City could build Jav Throwers and go out and MAKE Workers from Barbs and the like.

Although if Green City built a Barracks and built Veteran units while Blue City built a Granary and built Worker/Settlers that might have great potential.

So it sounds like we are all in agreement that there shall be no pillaging. Will everyone agree to retaliate against anyone whether ootsider or one of us, that does so to one of us?
Jonny, you have expressed interest in being mayor. Unless either Aeson or Makahlua has a problem with this then you have you the job.
I have created a private forum for members of this city on Noitazilivic. So if you want we can discuss our plans there in private. I will do this for each of the other cities, if they wish as well. It is easy enough as only members with the mask for that forum can even see it.
It seems that we are all fine with naming our city "Green City". So unless there are other ideas which have yet to be put forth I ask that when turns are next played that it be changed to such.
We have yet to decide what to do with our worker, so I suggest we do so soon.
This trade idea may be a good one, but we have time to discuss it in, so lets not rush it, but make sure we get it right.

The main problem with Barb workers is you can never add them to a city (permanent WW). So we have to keep track of them. They work the land well enough though!

It will take quite some time before we are able to clear the wetlands. We won't be above +3 food until after a government change, so even though we have enough food to keep us going, our growth will be slow compared to the others who should be growing at a +5 clip for most of the rest of the game. Aquiring some workers (AI captured or trading with another city) would allow us to improve the land faster, and build up pop faster.

I like the idea of a Barracks, combined with a Blue city Granary, and then both cities can benefit from each by focusing on their strengths.

I don't particularly want to run for office... so I would support a cannidate who wanted to focus our city on military production in an exchange program with one or both of the other cities. We'll need a lot of worker turns to clear the Jungles and Swamps.

As for Settlers, I'm not sure how that works yet. Can you only bid on Settlers produced in a city you are represented in? Or can you bid on a share of a Settler from any city? I'd think the second case is more fair, just as you can bid on tiles in another city, right?
