    I was under the impression we get to use the Luxury slider? We are producing enough Commerce to cover our happiness...

      Luxuries are at 20% in the save. Playing with the slider it has to be moved ot 40% and takes away 20% from our current Science rate to keep The Asylum from getting enraged.

      On the other hand, if you converted one of your unhappy citizens to a Tax Collector you would be okay and would have 600 gold to allocate as the Tax Collector would add an addition 3 gold to your Treasury income.

        That raises the question of if it's legal to change all pop points to tax collectors for trading turns? (I'd hope no.. maybe we should say no starvation allowed?) Tax collectors only give 2 extra income though, so we'd be at $500 (which is still nice / 4 ).

        I guess we would go with a tax collector (that's my vote). Our Settler will complete in 2 turns anyways right?

        As for the luxury slider, 40% for 2 turns wouldn't be a big deal, and I generally run it at 30-40% until the change to Republic in my game. We here at The Asylum can't help that our city was founded a long ways away with no connection to a luxury yet.

          Personally I never use the luxury slider. Other than that I shall not comment for discussion but in our private forum, so as to keep our plans to ourselves.

              They do, just only Locus, Esoteric, Bismarck, and us are using them so far. They're all set up at http://noitazilivic.clicdev.com PM there and I'll give you the right mask so that you can see your city's forum.

                I'd hope that the exploring warrior, after a few more turns, will return to Asylum (Hittites around... ), so this shouldn't be too much of a problem in future, especially if Asylum will be connected to the Gems sometime.

                  I guess that until we get the Gems connected, we should just switch that unhappy citizen to a tax collector.

                  Also, we need to commence voting on Trade Session 2 prices.

                    We need the Warrior to guard the Settler first, as it will be more at risk. Barbs are more likely to attack a wandering Settler than the AI is to attack a city.

                    We can start another Warrior in The Asylum to guard The Asylum.
