GF and Tarquinius have joined us in chat in time for a quickpoll on whether to pop the hut with our worker or not. The results were for popping, so we did so....

And with that we decide to call it quits for now so we can decide what to do with Lucky, the Luckiest Settler.

I needed that attitude in some others recently...

Here's a full map hastily thrown together for city placement discussions.

Well, they turn out to be barb camps 8 times out of 10.

Anything to let me see things clearly, frankly.

This is such a cluttered amalgamation of graphics just to help me see that I couldn't tell you where I picked up the goddie/barb hut mod.

I um... Well we got the Settler. I still say never open a hut with a Worker when Barbs are available. Especially 2 tiles from the capitol that is undefended and could have it's Settler build destroyed. We could have very easily been set back to 4000BC status. (This is something we would be looking at very closely at the GOTM to determine if foreknowlege and reloading were at work. Not suggesting anything, just a reference to how unlikely a play/result this is.)

I would suggest we change the Settler build in the Capitol to a Granary, and move the freebie over to city site 2. The other city sites aren't as worthwhile as a Granary would be at this point. Once we have a Granary, we can start spitting out pop like no tomorrow. City 2 can get us the other couple Warriors we need quickly, then build up a Granary fast with Workers from the capitol chopping Forests, and we can really be rolling.
