And with that we decide to call it quits for now so we can decide what to do with Lucky, the Luckiest Settler.

This is such a cluttered amalgamation of graphics just to help me see that I couldn't tell you where I picked up the goddie/barb hut mod.One who has a surplus of the unorthodox shall attain surpassing victories. - Sun Pin

I um... Well we got the Settler. I still say never open a hut with a Worker when Barbs are available. Especially 2 tiles from the capitol that is undefended and could have it's Settler build destroyed. We could have very easily been set back to 4000BC status. (This is something we would be looking at very closely at the GOTM to determine if foreknowlege and reloading were at work. Not suggesting anything, just a reference to how unlikely a play/result this is.)
I would suggest we change the Settler build in the Capitol to a Granary, and move the freebie over to city site 2. The other city sites aren't as worthwhile as a Granary would be at this point. Once we have a Granary, we can start spitting out pop like no tomorrow. City 2 can get us the other couple Warriors we need quickly, then build up a Granary fast with Workers from the capitol chopping Forests, and we can really be rolling.
