Be advised, that "Mission Statements" are living documents. They are subject to and routinely are edited for numerous reasons such as:

Changes in target Civ force structure estimates
Changes in target Civ negotiating posture
Changes in Geopolitical objectives
Map updates
Errors and omissions
and other reasons


All Mission Statements contain a revision record at the end of the thread opening post. The revision record is essentially a record of the editing activity of the lead mission planner. These records will not include analysis. Such analysis as deemed necessary will be found elsewhere in the thread.

First of all, my apologies if I'm repeating something that has already been said, but I've been away for 3 days and it's hard to read everything that I've missed, though I try.
Now, to business. If we're going to isolate Berlin, shouldn't we not conquer it straight away? After all, if we do then Germany's capital will just change and they will not be denied resources anymore.

The Mission Statement is deliberately vague with regards to timing the Berlin Assault for just this reasoning. Team Burgundy will be isolating Leipzig (most probable next Reighstag) While Team Anisethe and Team Champagne bombard Berlin. We naturally plan to have Leipzig isolated before Berlin Falls.
