Ghengis and Shiber are right, as always. The Ghengis plans to fill the two gaps can be implemented in the next turchat, and I agree with Panag, too. If possible, we need at least two more settlers (maybe three) to fill new gaps (and for Uber Isle). In the French case, is vital to us make this connection with the mainly portion of our Empire.

Here is a map of current borders(yellow) and future borders(red) after uber, seeberg, gaia and geofront expand(I'll assume we'll rush temple we need that soon borders), the hatched areas are the place where the comp fills a border if borders are close(this is the only place that I could be wrong, it tend to remeber the comp will fill ina border if there is a 1 square corridor between borders. This map shows why I see no danger, though i might move a pike or 2 or 3(see NYE post) to delay the settler.

That's still a pretty big gap and it has a luxury resource in the gap. I've seen the AI found cities right on my borders and steal territory from me, so I believe they will continue to this area until a city is located there.
If we try to herd them we will be using several units that could be killing Persians instead!Proud member of the Hawk Party.

Rushing a temple would be better, as it would preclude the Germans from taking a good portion of that area. At the same time however, we can have one of our cities start working on a settler. If we are smart we can use 3 units to try and block the germans from moving their settler. We should be able to occupy the 'settler shuttle' until our settler is finished.

(I'm inclined to believe that MWIA just ended his turn without moving him again)

I believe in the euphotia of victory that happened, I usually fortify units i don't plan on using just in case.
