If it was changed there would be no way in hell I'd ever run for anything again. At present, I fully intend to run for other positions besides President in future terms, but if there was this change, then count out one more sucka who was willing to put some time into this.

And we are conspicuously low on suckas right now.

panag, we already have a problem getting good people to run. No one complains the terms are too short (except theViking, who doesn't have an office).

Anything that would discourage good leaders like Trip, SirRalph, and Spiffor (to name a few) from returning would not be a good idea.

on one side we have people who dont want to hold elections every month and have the electees stay a bit longer , on the other side people who want to work only one month , .....

4 weeks seems a bit short to achieve some goals , two month might be to long , 6 weeks might be fine , ....
