If we're going to hold back the galley swordsmen, what's the point of the galley? The galley's only use would be to speed up transport, and in the case of one galley, that would be counterproductive.

one is better then zero , but even one could be a large difference , imagine they strike , with the galley we can put troops behind them , we can use the galley for other missions to , ....

Galleys 2 or 3. How else can we get units to paris within 2 turns of declaring war. Unless I'm mistaken after the drop off they will be sent to uberisle.
