I must apologize to all my fellow citizens of Apolitania.
last night, I had downloaded the save posted by timeline for the year 1100bc. This was the save after we had declared war, but was interupded due to technical dificulties.
After I got home, I discovered that we had continued and concured the american city of washington. Excelent news. I started to download the 1025 bc save, but didn't finish. My cousin (only 12 years old) is visiting me, and he wanted to make a phone call to his parents.
This morning, I forgot that I aborted the download, and I opened the latest save we had to get up to date information. After I opened it up, I recieved a phone call and left the computer unatended.
My cousin, seeing the game up, proceeded to begin playing. He has a copy of Civ3 at home, so he quickly figured out what was going on. He captured washington, and proceeded to play several turns past 1025 (to about the year 900 I believe). Despite the fact that he plays like crap, I didn't notice anthing at first.
I made a couple of posts, with the faulty information that I had, regarding future events. Although I do not think the information significant, it is a clear violation of what we are doing here. As this is the situation, I shall not post anything regarding strategy until the game goes past the 900bc mark. Unfortunately, after reviewing my other posts, I see that it is too late to edit them and remove any contamination, as others have already discussed my ideas without knowing the fact that it is based on faulty information.
I hope that by posting this apology, you, the citizens of Apolotiana shall forgive me. If you, as a society, feel it appropriate to punish, I shall gladly submit and throw myself upon the mercy of our new court.
