i am impressed! the apolytonian people seem to be able to talk to the entity they call "god". this is a whole new concept of communication with higher entities, not thru the prophets like we do.
we also have some higher entities other than the one, but never tried to change the concepts of talking to prophets. this seems a whole new approach we should take back home to discuss.

Well, I see no harm in this, Jdd. In fact there has been some quiet discussion along these lines, but no one felt like organizing it. I say go for it BlueStrider, the worst that can happen is no one will reply when you make the nomination thread. I have had that happen with my ideas in the past.

i see it cluttering things up, and making it even more confusing for the bewildered casual members. we already honor our leaders, by electing them into office. they are further honoured when we name ingame places after them.

This is, I believe, specifically for those who are NOT leaders. Or do you say that only administration should be honored? (given that you are winning your election at this time...)

Like, say, honor jdjdjd for his expeditions or MrWIA for that lovely time schedule thread, Robber Baron for the (however you say that damn diplomacy thing), Ralph for the War Academy, stuff like that.
