Timeline : imnsho You should have just built a mine north of the city...it already has a road

The NW NW square, unlike the N one, is a Shield-Grassland tile. This is why it had a priority.

I know, but I still thought it was waste of time

the settler has only 2 stops left to move, and it would take 4 turns for the warrior to catch up.

i'm going to decline your proposal as it is, but propose that the next availible warrior (#2) be sent to the new city, and the 3rd used to defend apolyton while we build settlers.

i want that first warrior to head west at all costs. the jungle has to end sooner or later, and the sooner the better.

so to recap, the existing warrior heads west looking for fertile soil. the next warrior produced heads north to the new city, and the 3rd one defends apolyton. unless you're giving me more units to play with, that is all.

That would not be wise, as our city grows next turn and will need a defender to squash the Banana supporters.

Also, it would be foolish to leave our city unprotected, and is just asking for Barbarian Pilliging.

The option I have proposed above is the only truly viable one.

oh i was under the impression that the next thing to be built was a worker. oopsie. that musta been my idea

of course the next warrior will stay at home, but i am not goign to waver in my course of exploration.

Very well, that is your decision to make. However, I am going on the record as STRONGLY OPPOSED to your not sending a warrior to protect our settler, and I am in a state of protest. You are held accountable for protecting all our interests and shall be held accountable for any ill-effects resulting from your latest desicion of ignoring our security needs.

May the Banana favor the bold....

Hope your right, but it will leave the city open for pillaging. Oh well it's on your head now anyway, I did all I could do.
