The Altera Centauri collection has been brought up to date by Darsnan. It comprises every decent scenario he's been able to find anywhere on the web, going back over 20 years.

Admiral from Star Wars: Episode 6
You ask the impossible.
And as to that whole suggestion for our flag, if anything I would make it red and white, with a maple leaf in the center. But since this is for the international in real life, and Apolytonian in in-game life, I shall include no blatent patriatism, excpet of course to bananas.
Yeah, make a flag... I't should involve something scientific, that's right. A matrix perhaps? With small flag-variables inside? Well, just make up something spicy!

hi ,
red , white and blue , the colours of apolyton , ....
and of about 25 other nations and important organisations , ....
Ok, though I have yet to get started on the flag, I did get a save from Trip. I have now compiled what I believe would be the best route for research. An asteriks represents a possible tech that could be added in if people so greatly desire.
-Alphabet
-Writing
-The Wheel *
-Pottery
-Map Making
-Literature (The Great Library, I believe)
-Iron Working *
-Mathematics
-Currency
Bronze Wroking should be finished in 9 turns, and Alphabet 27 after that. We should thus be able to start on Writing in 36 turns. This, of course, is going with the current research rate of 100% and current income, and discluding any possible trade deals with Joan d'Arc or Goody Huts.
As well, despite population increase, roads, and a new city, the possible capital gain is lost due to science research being at 100%, so the net income is still 0, however gross is at a high of 8.
Here are the two relevant screens:
Darn, can't get it to work!

Bugger again. I thought this was more of a group of wandering philosophers, not necessarily arguing for more science, but wandering around and provoking debates on many issues, on all sides involved. It looks more like a Pro-Science party now.
Glad there's no member lis or I'd have to take my name off it.

Of course we are wandering philospophers! Also drunk, sometimes. I just came out of the dense Notylopian rainforest a week ago, after some intense thinking about a Malaria Cure. I had found that chinin was the best thing to use, after some 12 glasses of gin & tonic... containing this wonderful substance.
So we can survive a stroll though Notylopia drunken and merry, I guess? Well, so much for science. Cheers mate!
I think we are moving into dangerous tides. A war for expansion seems inevitable... There are some questionable strategic planning in the palace nowadays. Some good points, though.
We know of a Plan Eagle. - Enemy unknown!
I just can't sit in my study reading the advanced bananic philosophy, knowing there's fishy business going on with the americans. We should have to aide the government by turning our sceptical minds into their planning.
There is too much at stake... Maybe we'll never get that darn library, but instead we'll be working on American corn-plantations?
(maybe gaining our freedom in some 400 years)
Someone has to stop them, and that can only be done by our fearsome troops! Well, but how? In the recent plans for the invasion of America, our govt. provides little means for defending the the assault force...
Which can be fatal!
I urge my fellow Thinkers to meditate upon this, and state your suggestions to the press, our elected leaders, and the populace. I'm well aware that you do not like the thought of this bloodshed, but it's the destiny... and our survival!
Wow, i've been gone for a while... So we're going to war are we? Seems like a perfectly logical idea, since the point of civ 3 is to win, and we arent about to do that while sitting around in the middle of a jungle without any real power base. Everything in life involves some kind of risk, and running a nation is no different. So why not?
I say go for it. Though I may yet eat my words and wind up in the brewery along side plaguerat.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat." -- Theodore Roosevelt
I'm afraid that could be the end of it all, Chandragupta.
However, a merry end would it be...
Maybe all citizens of Apolyton will find their way down here when the end is near? Then we should prepare a mass whiskeysuicide ritual... Another alternative is to grab firmly to our principals of common sense, system critisism, and worship of
The Free Thought.
I suggest you read the plans for invasion of America! (Plan Eagle, aka. Case Blue) And of course reading it with enlightened eyes, searching for weaknesses in the proposed plans. (I found some on buildup matters.)
Also we do know little about other military forces, except for them being stronger than ours at the moment...
