Do we have a belief system already ? Maybe we should wait for ceremonial burial before we elaborate one...
For the sake of immersion, I'd say we follow our tech tree, starting pantheists, then polytheists, then monotheists (with the Banana as our omniscient god). What do you think

Now that I've read the thread instead of just spamming it. Spiffor is so right how can we be monotheistic before the advance. It's silly, It's wrong, It's just not Civ. It's CTP

    I actually like ctp

I for one will welcome all right thinking worshipers of Jupiter to share my hearth. Regardless of the results of polls such as these.

This is a democracy, so each individual may pick his own theism, or lack thereof. I voted for all of the options. Disestablishmentarianism (to use that behemoth of a word again) is a good concept from my view.

Yeah, but I think this is to decide the 'official' religion of whatever we're called.

Polytheism allows for some very creative mythology, so I vote that.

"Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic. But will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path of destruction." -- Thomas Jefferson

Cool, I just put monotheism up by one.....

As the Banana is my witness, we shall overcome those bigoted polytheists and there god of the day mentality.

Interesting, if such a vote were to come up in the US, Roman Catholic would win, since the Protestants are split into so many churches. Yet only one Roman Catholic President.....

We could be polytheistic and have multiple banana gods.

What about animism? I like the worshipping of the ancestors also, though I don't know what it's called.

I don't think that oligotheism is a word either...
