    Culture: What should our belief system be?

    A tie-in with the Culture Club thread.

    Definition of terms:

    Polytheism-- Belief in very many gods (Greece, Rome, Egypt, Hinduism)

    Oligotheism-- Belief in a few gods (Persia) (BTW- is "oligotheism" a word?)

    Monotheism-- Belief in one god (Christianity, Judaism, Islam)

    Nontheism-- No belief in gods/belief in no gods. (Could allow for worship of individuals, i.e. Bokononism)

    Vote

    Edit (again): The top belief system will be used. A later poll will be posted after this one closes to determine the pantheon of gods (if any).

    hmmm...I guess that even though The Banana is the greatest of the gods, there are lots of otehrs, so polytheism!

            I really don't see how this is even remotely relevant.

                  Do we have a belief system already ? Maybe we should wait for ceremonial burial before we elaborate one...
                  For the sake of immersion, I'd say we follow our tech tree, starting pantheists, then polytheists, then monotheists (with the Banana as our omniscient god). What do you think ?

                        "Nontheism" is a bit vague. It should be split between atheism and agnosticism imo.

                              Screw this culture isn't something that is voted on. It's something that is written. That's right people make up your culture who needs consensus.

                              I will abide by the poll and give praises to the banana if thats what wins.
