Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I'm against it because I think it will take a horrible time to agree on custom rules. It takes much time already, only to agree on the world setup screen.
With the huge amount of options in modded games, agreeing on them would take ages. It's fun to talk before the game, but I think it will be even more fun when the game has started.
Another reason (I think Atawa raised it) is that we should play with the rules everybody knows, not just the few people who are trained with a specific mod.

This is a Civ3 game, and I think most people expect to play the official Civ3 in such a game. You will never find a plurality with mods among everyone here, so it is better to go with the original game (plus patches, of course, since they are official).
Lime roots and treachery!
