Modified Rules

It seems as if some people want to costomize the rules. So this is a simple poll to see what we think of this matter.

Three options: Yes, No and Don't care

Timeout: 2 days (yes it's short, but if we ned another poll for what changes to make it must bé started as soon as possible)

If you vote yes you must present a list of changes to the default rules (of 1.21f) which you want to have changed.

no. it will mess up basic strategy. and the majority of people DO NOT HAVE mods (or so i assume).

also mods have been known to crash some computers (wh00h00 firaxis) so some presidents / advisors could not be able to serve.

Normal rules, everyone has played them and can contribute to the game this way. Not only the 5 players who have played the mod extensivly.

No need to mod anything as there wont be a day when everyone agrees on the rules.

Strictly standard rules, or it will be a hell to manage. Imagine how much time it takes to agree on the mere world setup... Agreeing on modded rules will be 1000 times longer.

Someone has voted yes, but no list of suggested rule-changes.

Either it will be a long list (on postingway) or the voter failed to give a list. Any vote for yes will not be valid unless at least the same number of posters post suggested changes.

hi ,

nuke subs should hold both tact and cruise missile , about 8 of them , with a range of 8 squares , the sub should cost 1000 shields .

barbarians , regular , rifleman , advanced ; infantry , sea unit destroyer .

a carrier should hold at least 10 units , no stealth bomber , cost 1000 shields , defense 48 , ...

so it would take at least 4-5 cruise missile's to take one out , ..

any one else going for yes , ....

That would be more of a personal preference; I think we should just keep it basic so we get no accidental 'super units'.
