    Hey! No thread hijacking!

    Civ: The Argentines
    Capital: Buenos Aires
    Leader: either Peron or Galtieri
    Special Abilities: Militarist/Commercial
    Special Unit: No idea.

    Civ: The Peruvians
    Capital: Lima
Leader: Velasco (world's only left-wing military dictator)
    Special Abilities: Industious/Commercial
Special Unit: Some sort of Guerilla fighter with all terrain movement.

Let's get some post colonial civs into the game. And Latin America is always underrepresented.

I don't think modern-day Boers (Afrikaaners) would agree with you that that they no longer exists. They have been in Africa since the 1600s, and still exist as a people.
They were defeated by the British, but later, through politics, they gained control of the South African government.

About cities: they built lots of them. Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bloemfontein, just to name a few.

Cape Town was founded by the Dutch, not the Boers. The Boers are decendents of the Dutch though.
