    AU601 - Need an Opponent.

I have just read the game proposal thread - and only the game proposal thread - by alexman. If there is anyome out there who would like to tackle AU601, I am ready no go. Please let me know.

    Here's the link:

If you have been reading through the DAR's or other post-start stuff, then you have effectively eliminated yourself. We need someomne who has stumbled across this as late as I have.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

Okay I'm in. I haven't even looked in this forum much of late so I've totally missed out on everything, but this actually sounded like fun. I haven't read any of the DARs yet.

It's a VERY limited comeback. This is it. And the only reason I even saw this was because of something Beta had mentioned in one of the threads while I was creating those new PBEM maps.

And I can give you guys crap whenever I want.

And you are so dam good at it

So when you guys gonna start?

I reccomend Rhoth do the Greeks and Beta do Rome, although I know Beta gets Roma a lot in random games.

This is actually pretty fun and moves fairly quickly. Motown and I have been having a blast.

Beta is handling the setup. I'm just along for the ride.

Decide what difficulty, AU mod or not, who goes first, and I'll send save.

Finally, Beta, a post that makes me wish I hadn't been reading the DAR's.

                    Good one Sol!

alex the man, we have decided.

Stock civ, Emperor, Beta has Greeks, Rhothaerill has Romans, and I will go first.

Beta should probably remember that it was the Romans who overran Greece not the other way around.

Which civ goes first is locked into the scenario, so if you choose who gets which civ, you can't choose who goes first, and vice versa.

Everybody else decided to let luck decide the civ selection, so they picked the turn order instead (The turn order of the civs is predetermined).

So do you prefer to pick a turn order, or to pick civs? You can't pick both.

                          Edit: what Nathan said...

Beta wanted the Greeks so I guess we'll pick civs.

If the turn order means I'm first then my email is rhothaerill TA comcast TOD net

                            Thanks alexman.
