this is a classic thread, and probably deserves to be sticky my comments:

strat: if you have been the champion 8 times, one could logically surmise that you couldn't possibly be the best, or you wouldn't have lost it 8 times

Your biggest weakness is that you are a quitter. You always have been. I can remember one tribe game where you quiit because of your horrible start, and coldwizard replaced you. And he was instrumental in a smashing victory.

eyes (or malevolentLight): my biggest critique of you is that you (much like myself) primarily played one setting. And, I think you would probably be generally regarded as one of the greatest ever is your attitude was so self-depricating. if you would just win and be quiet about it, people would respect you a lot more.

      kuja: apparently, selfadmittedly, cheats.

as for others that could contend for the "greatest" MP, the only other i know is JB, who exited the scene before the onslaught of many of the greatest (read "my") strategies

as for new comers, or further development of the older guys, i don't know much. but i do have some awards to pass out...(high school yearbook style)

      1) most analytical: oedo
      2) most innovative: eyes
      3) most "i'll never give up and i'll kick your tank in the teeth with my horseman: coldwizard
      4) most creative: strat (and i'm not just talking about excuses ) i'll add more later, i'm not thinking well at the moment
"Mal nommer les choses, c'est accroître le malheur du monde" - Camus (thanks Davout)

"I thought you must be dead ..." he said simply. "So did I for a while," said Ford, "and then I decided I was a lemon for a couple of weeks. A kept myself amused all that time jumping in and out of a gin and tonic."

Nobody should state from himself, to be the world-best player, if he didn´t play against all different. I let apply only the statement „ I still played against none, which plays better than me“. Surely everyone already lost, because others had more luck or simply had been really better these days. I do not take up for me, to be the best German player, but I participate in front. I have my strengths in the strategy and war guidance, but there are at least 2 German players, whom I call complete, because they are superior to me in the trade and research. It is just as important to be good on all conceivable Settings. Only 2x2xking or only 1x1xdeity mark a good specialist, but not the world-best player.
Nothing is more painful than regret.

If the people that I play consider me good competition, then I'm satisfied. I'll leave the dubious claims of greatness to others.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

While I totally agree with my twin brother on this point (duhhh... like usual) I would also add to it.

And as long as people find it enjoyable to play me, I'm even more satisfied. I play for fun and entertainment... and that's what is important to me.

You've been gone a long time kaak and are not aware of what I have done in your absence. I have already proved myself the greatest King player on all settings whether it be small maps or medium maps, 2x1x, 1x1x, or 2x2x. I refuse to play deity and I have outlined more thoroughly than anyone on why that is.

Yeah - because you lose at deity.

Actually I can count on just a few fingers the amount of games I've lost on deity.

Yes but you cheat so maybe you should shoot for "greatest cheat in the world".

You'd certainly find support here for that claim.

Ok, so then you are changing your argument from me losing on deity to me being a cheater? Does that mean you want to go ahead and admit you were wrong?

Which I take to mean you've only played a handful of deity games
