    You can configure it so it will work.......you just have to redirect the information coming in on civ's game port to your machine.

        Sure, when I can. I just joined the new succession game...........and I keep an eye on the democracy game. MP is much harder in Europe........both big groups that play here always play when I cannot.

                        I want to know why Civ is running so slowly in OS 10 even after I've cranked up its memory allocation by zillions!

                        You're most welcome to investigate the Mac network because it isn't yet a network and probably should be. You can advise on same.
