Finally posting my turn. Not much has happened. Hopefully we can find a replacement for sas quickly. It seems that the French player is constantly being lost.

Anyone mind if Ohwell takes over for sas? I know he cheated before in a PBEM here, but since then at CFC he has gone completely clean.

Whoever had France before me discovered the Republic and didn't revolt, and now I can't have a revolution! U.S. and Russia (I was told we're allies), we should try to coordinate our research so we can discover Imperialism quickly. I don't want that government, but I need the tech in order to revolt, after which I would choose Republic from the options.

You sure you're not just forgetting to unzip it? I made the same mistake when I first played in gigamap PBEM's, and I thought this might be it since you were able to play the Hellas turn with no problems.

everytime i want to download a file from this thread i´m not asked where i´d like to save it and my f***** computer saves it to a temporary folder that he could not find after donwloading the file ......

any idea?

If you're using a PC:
Right-click on it, and "Save target as.." click cancel when the save box appears the first time, since it'll show the file as "Go.htm" and then just "Save target as" again and it should be all right.

If that doesn't work, save it as you have been and use the "Search -> For Files or Folders" in the Start menu, and select either the date or say w/in the past 1 day, and search for "*.zip" or the whole name of the file if you want.

If neither of those work, I haven't a clue
