Wehrmachtsbericht November 1940
Western Europe:
- Greenland: German Forces finally stopped their advance towards the city of Frederikshab in Greenland for the British Forces haven´t withdrawn yet. Generalfeldmarschall von Keitel, Chief of the Staff of OKW, asks the Royal Army to withdraw immediately and added also that next month German Forces will occupy the city. One way or another.
- Great Britain/Southern England: German Forces are withdrawing from the occupied territory according to the British-German Treaty. Due to the limited German transport ships this operation will last for another month. By the new year the Führer expects no troops to be stationed in England. The Führer also apologised for this delay and said that "... if Germany was allowed to build up its navy not only to 35% of the Royal Navy back in 1935 all of our troops would have been brought back to Germany till today ...".
North/East Sea: The 1st ever-built German Flat Top left the docks in Kiel this month. The ´Graf Zeppelin´ this ship is called and the Kriegsmarine expects the newly formed Carrier Battlegroup to support German interests all over the globe. The Carrier has also received its first carrier-based fighter wings and is expected to receive further strike/attack capabilities before being sent abroad.
Continental Europe: After some serious provocations the German Government asked the Eastern Allies to withdraw theri forces from the German Borders. The Führer also stated that Germany will not accept these provocations any longer. "If these hostile activities continue Germany has to defend itself. And believe me, we will defend ourselves", the Führer was cited in the Berlin newspapers.
Mediterranean Sea: Some transports are made ready to leave the Italian ports to occupy the Aegean Isles and to resupply and reinforce the Forces in Northern Africa. Also a Cruiser from the Med was detached to sail along with the Carrier Battlegroup and has already passed the Straits of Gibraltar.
Atlantic: The Kriegsmarine is still waiting for the order to anchor in Frederikshab. Grand Admiral Raeder is bound to the British-German treaty and - as the Land Forces too - has his ships standing by near the port of Greenland.
Central Africa: According to the British-German Treaty Axis Forces have occupied the former British Colony of Kenia and secured its capital, Nairobi.
P.S.: I apologise for letting you wait that long for my turn but I´ve been on the other edge of Austria for some National Championships. Sorry.
