Now how can you give me those cities? You mentioned something called Civdip before. What's that?

              • Another boring month in Russia...

The USSR requests that Japanese forces respect the borders on the USSR and withdraw all troops from our territory.

The Soviet ambasador to the USA requests an audiance with the newl elected President (Pap, PM for you )

AND EVERYONE REMEMBER TO SWITCH TO NEW EVENTS FILES!

                • Ok i have been playing my turn and it seems that everybody wants to trade techs with me(new events file).

Are we allowed to trade techs?

I say we should be able to ,but to not build any non-national units. These units should only be given to our allies for support.

f.e if i build two panzergranadiers i can only give them as a gift to the Reich, not use them to defend my cities.
                  What say you?

                  • I think we should agree to only trade generic techs, i.e. dont trade techs that have the symbol/flag of a country on. Also you should only trade techs with human players by agreement between both parties (usualy by gifting techs or using CivDiplomacy utility). So you can trade with the Neutal and eastern allies but not trade for neutal council or nationalist army (thier country specific techs) or trade away your country specific techs.

Or we could agree to just ban tech trading altogether.

                      • I have refrained from trading techs to keep things simple. I say we ban tech trading altogether. However if USA would like to gift some of its Shermans to the USSR it should be allowed to do so.

                        Turn report:

The cities of Urundi and Mandalay have fallen in the hands of the Imperial army. Fierce resistance encountered. The airforce however was again up to the task. Anti-guerrila operations were conducted all over liberated china, espesially in the region of Lhasa.

What troubles the Imperial general staff however is that the chinese incident remains a thorn to the IJA's side.

                        Foreign ministry:

A cease fire was agreed between the Empire of Japan and the British Commonwealth, upon which the cities of Calcutta, Rangoon, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tarakan, Ambon and Surabaya are to pass into Japanese control.

Already the British army has evacuated the cities of Rangoon and Calcuta. The IJA however, in tribute to the Englishmen's bravery, has refrained to seize them immediately. The British will be allowed to withdraw all the way to western India before the Japanese flag will fly over the ex-british colonies.

However as an insurance that the cease fire terms are kept the Imperial navy has seized Port Moresby despite fierce resistance by the colonial troops defending it.

                        • FIGU, the troops withdrawing from Birmania are supported by Rangoon and propably Calcutta.
I did not take the cities so your troops would not get disbanded.

Next turn move your troops from Rangoon into Calcutta and support them from there. Only then will i seize Rangoon. On the other turn use the railroad to transport them further into India and support from Delhi or something. Then i will seize Calcutta.

As for the other cities inform me when you are ready. The agrrement was for the cities not for your brave(and valuable) troops.
