*Turkey infiltrated by Iraqi soldiers! After a decisive operation the Iraqi forces were thrown back and motorized Turkish units have taken up defensive positions close to Mosul.

*Canada strikes again! After an urgent report from the CIA (Canadian Intelligence Agency ) telling of terrorists haing just arrived in the United States, president Pavlov took action. Canadian fighters managed to completely destroy a terrorist camp on the American east coast, only miles from Washington.

President Pavlov apologized for the intrusion on American soil but said that in matters of terrorism you can't let a second go to waste. [ooc: Sorry about that Pap, but after twenty minutes of going through cities and changing production I was itching for some action.]

Rules.txt Update!!!

ok, you haven´t mentioned this so far (i imagine):

the Airbase unit is not able to carry air units, i forgot to modifie this in the rules.txt before zipping the files. i lost a MRBM due to my incompetence

anyway, first of all: down there is a modified rules.txt file, containing not only the modifications for the airbase but also changed trading goods (i know, details. but details make the difference )

European Union elects new President!

As today was made public, Jim Panse was elected President of the European Union´s Commission.

"My one and only goal i wish to achieve in my presidency is the 98%age integration of the European Union. I wish to create a more powerful Europe than it is nowadays to show the world that there is an alternative to the US. This is meant to be a peaceful process. I don´t want the United States to feel attacked by us Europeans. We share the same ideals, values and principals but Europe is not the United States, therefore it is our right to take a slightly different way into the future. This is meant to be achieved through peaceful Enlargement.
The US and Europe have a lot of common goals: We want to make the world safe for Human Rights, Freedom, Liberty and Democracy. That is to be mentioned. The 21st century should be the century of peace and growing prosperity to all mankind!"

Aside of this remarkable step towards more integration the Chairman of the EU, Jim Panse, announced that the EU will send reenforcements into Afghanistan to stabilize the region.

i found another bug that is not solved by now: there is a DPRK Infantry unit belonging to the European Union in North Korea. this is not solved yet, i just disbanded the unit. in the final release version this will be fixed
