Do we think that the Defense Bunkers need to have their defense raised?

The problem is that on diffferent terrain, they are almost impossible to destroy. And as veterans they are tough too. Maybe I sohuld just change the terrain that Leningrad and Moscow are on.

I assure you the one in Stalingrad is much harder to take because of the terrain.

First off, I thought at first that you should have had all the bunkers be veteran in the first place, and then lower their defense strength. That way they wouldn't become even harder to beat when they defeat the enemy and become veterans.

Another possibility could be weakening the Ju-88's.

IMO the terrain under Moscow and Leningrad should be 'urban'. I don't know about other cities, but if it's logical (big city) there should be 'urban' or 'defended'.

edit: Darius vet idea sounds good. However if you lower the stats of the Ju 88 you'd have to lower the stats of all bombers. (I really love those Ju 88's )

IMO the Germans weren't renowned for their excellent heavy bombers. This should be represented in the scenario.

Well, I can lower the attack of the Ju-88 at least a little next version.

I understand the reasons you gave us... but please, players shouldn´t be able to build them.

As for the forts, they are only in cities which were historically really tough nuts, such as Moscow, Leningrad, and Stalingrad. It's for historical accuracy that you have to take heavy casualties to take these cities.

There should be no forts in Kursk, there are only forts in Stalingrad, Leningrad, and Moscow. Germany never conquered them in real life, so I decided it should be incredibly tough to take them in the scenario.

My reasoning behind them is that I want games that take a long time to finish. I don't like how most of the World War II games are over before 1943 even starts. The battle here at Apolyton looks like it will take a longer time than most. By the end of the scenario, in 1944 and 1945, there are many units with huge attack values. The defense bunkers have a defense of 45 and a cost of 35, or 5 less than a battleship. I want to playtest to see how easy it is to take them out, and in the various tests, it has proven that they are not that hard to destroy. After testing, I would like to balance out the correct values to see what we all think makes the best gameplay.

I of course agree to them being in historically tough cities, and I also agree that they should be buildable, but IMO they should cost the maximum # of shields, 600.

The alliance with Britain that was ended in spirit months ago is now in fact broken. His Excellency President Chiang has announced that he could not in good conscience allign the Middle Kingdom with an enemy of the Empire of Japan.

Peace with Russia
President Chiang was pleased to announce that peace with the USSR is established. Chinese forces overseen by General Song are in an orderly withdrawl from the border.
