I didn't see the KC because I'd been booted again. I'm now running my cable connection through a hub and it has been a bit twitchy as a result. I suspect that was the problem last night. I can easily bypass the hub next time we play so it won't be a problem. I have a game save from seconds before I was booted the last time.

As to the anarchy thing - I have no idea what to do about it. I have no idea why I even lost government. My first turn in Democracy, a city revolted, and the government collapsed. The city wasn't in revolt prior to the change to Democracy. I think the government collapsed in 560AD, and the game is now, I think, in 660AD. I wasn't offered government in 620AD - according to Odeo - and I still haven't been offered government. Most bizarre.
