About the swapping cities: Generally we only swap a city once and leave it at that, so we both have a friendly froeign super trade city on our own continent. Increases caravan bonuses and makes things a bit more convenient, but that's it. Mass city-swapping takes too long and is too boring, and I don't bother with that.

That was my thought on it. One could swap any and all, but that seems to be, again, "not in the spirit of the game as intended".

Your not supposed to leave cities undefended
nor are you supposed to let your alliance take a city on your continent...
alliances should still be treated like rivals...hands off my turf but i will help you protect yours.....Boston Red Sox are 2004 World Series Champions!Comment

One of the team goals is to not let your Tribe members do silly things, like leave cities undefended.

Ileave a lot of cities undefended in most normal games... I've yet to have anyone get to them. I'd love to see someone manage it for once
